Get your phones ready!! The new racially diverse emojis announced in February are FINALLY available!!
According to Buzzfeed, the new emojis come with the iOS 8.3 update. Once downloaded, users can choose between six different skin tones for emojis. This counts for face emojis and others, like the hand and muscles. You just press on the face you want, and more skin tone options come up. You can also access a wider variety of flag emojis with the update.
To activate the update:
Go to Settings
Click on General
Install the Software Update iOS 8.3
You can also get the update by connecting your iOS device to your computer and updating it through iTunes.
